Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) has begun construction on Dubai Creek Gardens, a Dh3 billion residential development in Phase 2 of its master plan. The project, led by Global Partners Ltd, will deliver over 1,400 homes across 127,000 square meters along Dubai Creek, with construction expected to wrap by 2030.
The development is designed as a low-density community, with 70% of the site allocated to landscaped gardens, parks, and recreational spaces. This emphasis on green infrastructure aligns with Dubai’s broader push for sustainable urban growth, as outlined in the Dubai Quality of Life Strategy 2033 and the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan.
A key feature of the project is the introduction of the UAE’s first Westin and Renaissance-branded residences, developed in partnership with Marriott International. These will join a mix of housing, retail, and dining options, reinforcing DHCC’s position as a hub for healthcare, wellness, and modern living.
The new ceremony drew representatives from DHCC Authority, Global Partners, Mirage Leisure, OCTA Properties, BAUER Spezialtiefbau GmbH, and Marriott, signaling the project’s strategic importance. The development also reflects Dubai’s population growth, with residents projected to reach 5.8 million by 2040, increasing demand for high-quality residential spaces.
To support long-term growth, the Dubai Healthcare City Authority (DHCA) has joined as a founding shareholder in the Global Partners Property Fund II, a fund dedicated to financing future projects within DHCC. This move shows the authority’s commitment to expanding infrastructure while maintaining its focus on healthcare and wellness.
Issam Galadari, CEO of DHCC Authority, stated that the Dh3 billion investment demonstrates confidence in Phase 2, which aims to create a self-contained ecosystem where residents can access healthcare, housing, and amenities in one location. The project’s completion will further diversify Dubai’s residential offerings, particularly for families and professionals seeking integrated living solutions.
