Aldar Properties is introducing Saadiyat Grove, a high-end retail and dining destination on Saadiyat Island. This ambitious project aims to enhance Abu Dhabi’s lifestyle offerings within the renowned Saadiyat Cultural District, strategically situated between the Zayed National Museum, Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, and Louvre Abu Dhabi. Saadiyat Grove is scheduled to open in the final quarter of 2025.

The development boasts a diverse range of features, including over 100 international brands in its retail area, along with exclusive dining options. Notably, Saadiyat Grove will debut around 20 new concepts to the region, featuring renowned food and beverage establishments like Momofuku and an Alain Ducasse Café. In addition to retail and dining, the project incorporates luxury hotels, wellness centers, premium office spaces, and over 1,000 residences across three branded developments.

Key Amenities and Features

Saadiyat Grove’s highlights include the Saadiyat Forum, a 7,000-square-meter area dedicated to culture, hospitality, luxury experiences, and a cinema. Fitness facilities are extensive, with a 2,000-square-meter gym managed by BXR, a London-based luxury fitness brand. A 2,200-square-meter executive club, linked to the retail area, offers private offices, meeting rooms, and member lounges, complete with concierge and hospitality services.

Talal Al Dhiyebi, group chief executive of Aldar, stated that Saadiyat Grove will position luxury retail as a key component of Abu Dhabi‘s economy. The project aims to enhance Abu Dhabi’s retail market, stimulate private investment, boost visitor spending, and create job opportunities. This launch aligns with Abu Dhabi’s ongoing efforts to transform Saadiyat Island into a premier cultural, residential, and tourism hub. The island continues to attract considerable investment in museums, hospitality, and residential ventures.

In conjunction with Saadiyat Grove, Aldar has unveiled Sei Saadiyat, a residential development offering 778 homes across six buildings within the Saadiyat Cultural District. Sei Saadiyat emphasizes wellness and restorative living, featuring one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, as well as two-bedroom lofts. Aldar’s extensive development portfolio supports these initiatives. As of June, the company reported a group development backlog of Dh71.6 billion ($19.49 billion), with Dh59.9 billion allocated to UAE-based projects. This significant backlog is expected to drive Aldar’s revenue growth over the next two to three years, solidifying its position in Abu Dhabi’s real estate sector.
