Woosa slashes mattress prices for National Day

Singapore’s National Day sales this year feature a rare discount on premium mattresses from local brand Woosa, with savings of up to $149 and a $150 voucher for purchases over $3,000. The offer is available from August 1 to 16 at two physical showrooms, with no online option.

Two-tiered savings on mattresses and accessories

The promotion covers Woosa’s full mattress range, including the Standard Series and the Plush Series. The Standard Series, priced from $1,749 for a single to $2,349 for a king, targets stability and recovery. The Plush Series starts at $1,949 for a single and reaches $2,549 for a king, using zoned microcoils and extra foam to ease pressure points.

Higher spending unlocks additional benefits. The voucher structure works as follows:

  • Spend $3,000–$4,999: $100 voucher for accessories
  • Spend $5,000 or more: $150 voucher for accessories

Vouchers are given at checkout and can be used for pillows, protectors, or other bedding items. Woosa’s designs account for Singapore’s climate, incorporating breathable layers to manage humidity and heat.

Showroom-only deals with no online option

The discounts apply only at Woosa’s two showrooms. One is at #01-01 T-Space, 1 Tampines North Dr 1, open daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The other is at #03-03 Tan Boon Liat Building, 315 Outram Rd, operating from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The mattresses are locally designed but produced in Belgium. The company focuses on a layered system where each component—from the base to the cover—works together to improve airflow and temperature control.

Buyers who prefer testing products in person get a chance to try the beds before buying. The short timeframe leaves just over two weeks to decide, and the brand has not indicated if similar deals will return later.

Unlike most mattress sales in Singapore, which rely solely on price reductions, this promotion includes vouchers for accessories. This approach may attract shoppers viewing bedding as a long-term investment rather than a single purchase.

The timing aligns with Singapore’s National Day, when retailers often push promotions to boost local spending.

Woosa’s strategy—linking discounts to a holiday while restricting them to in-person sales—follows a pattern seen among premium brands that favor controlled environments over broad online discounts.

A recent condo makeover in the area also highlights how local brands adapt designs to Singapore’s climate, much like Woosa’s mattress layers. Both cases show attention to practical needs in high-humidity settings.
